1. Have a healthy diet throughout the day
Isn't it interesting!
The way we feed our body by consuming various kinds of nutrients... all make differences like providing energy, keeping us focused on the activities throughout the day.
You should eat more meals, fewer portions in each. If you take controlled meals in a day then it is a great way to go.
Not only this it is also important to cut out junk foods and replace saturated fats with unsaturated ones and cut down on the daily intake of excess salt and sugars.
2. Stay Hydrated
We all know that water constitutes around 70% of our body weight and is essential for all of the major and minor processes taking place inside the body that includes metabolism as well; functions like lubrication of joints, regulating of temperature, blood flow, digestion, respiration they all require ample amount of water.
On average, we should drink at least 8 glasses of water daily in fact if someone utilizes extra energy in workouts and exercises then he/she requires more amount of water.
Some experts recommend drinking around 11 cups of water per day for the average woman and 16 cups for men, and of course, this whole amount of water need not come from simple plain water, rather you can consume flavored juices and fruit or vegetables or from coffee, tea, etc.
But as we talked about it earlier...stay away from excess sweets and salts as much as possible.
3. Avoid junk foods as much as you can
Of course, junk foods are mouth-watering and this is because these are engineered in such a manner so they can trigger your pleasure centers thereby trick your brain into overeating.
You should remember that junk food is incredibly unhealthy.
Junk foods usually contain low fibers, low protein, and micronutrients and contain a high amount of unhealthy ingredients like sugar and refined grains, deep-fried kinds of stuff, etc. Hence, they mostly provide empty calories.

5. Exercise Regularly
You will always remain happy if you are free of diseases and yes of course you will have less health risk as well. If you do exercise regularly then this will help you to stay focused and fit.
Our main organs need a safe environment to reside in our body so they should be kept healthy enough to avoid chronic diseases like- heart attack, atherosclerosis, hypertension, etc.
One of the benefits of exercising daily is that it keeps us active throughout the day, fit and young as well. If you are a fitness freak and want to gain muscle strength and endurance then you should work out daily.
Some people do not have the time to exercise every day, because of the busy schedule and inactive lifestyle so if this is true in your case then, you can limit your days of workout and increase your overall workout time and remember that -"For a healthy lifestyle, our body needs to stay energetic"
6. Avoid overthinking and depression
In difficult situations, we become worried about what will happen in the future. If we try to avoid this we feel helpless and this inability to release bad thoughts and memories can get us down. To avoid this spend some quality time with your friends and family, you can get involved in certain hobbies like playing a sport, playing a musical instrument, painting and a lot more.
It has been seen that women are twice as likely as men to become depressed so they need to get involved in daily healthy habits like yoga, fitness training, or a short weekend trip may be helpful.
We know that Negative thoughts breed hopelessness, despair, and demotivation, and low self-esteem so it is better to avoid them and focus on goals and positive expectations of life.
7. Get enough sleep
In today’s world, getting a perfectly good night’s sleep has become a luxury with our ever-increasing list of priorities- work, social interaction, and entertainment. They all keep us so busy and involved and deprive us of enough sleep.
Remember sleep is as important to your physical and mental health as food and water. Many scientists believe that body needs adequate sleep to repair and recover. So take at least 7-8 hours of daily sleep.
